OptiLedge Names Jonathan North General Manager

ATLANTA — OptiLogistics, Inc. has named Jonathan North as General Manager with global responsibility for the company’s innovative OptiLedge unit-load shipping system.
Prior to this recent promotion, North served as Vice President Supply Chain Solutions at OptiLogistics. In his four years at the company, North has worked to optimize the product’s design to increase its relevancy to a wider customer base; this work resulted in a design patent. He also helped to develop the sales strategy for the mass merchandise retail sector.
During his 20-year career, North developed extensive experience in international supply chain and logistics, in particular those channels involving grocery and mass merchandise. From 1992-2004, he worked for CHEP USA, where his accomplishments included developing a unique rackable plastic pallet, building an international network of manufacturing locations, establishing third-party operations centers in Mexico and Chile, automating third-party operations centers in the US and Canada, and constructing a state-of-the-art materials and product testing facility in Florida.
North, who graduated with an Honors Degree in Applied Physics from the University of Portsmouth in the UK, now lives in the United States.
“We are delighted that Jonathan has accepted this position during this period of rapid expansion at OptiLogistics,” said Ed Fuller, President and CEO. “As we open offices in China, Central Europe and India, his experience will strengthen the already broad acceptance of the OptiLedge shipping system on a global basis.”
